Women’s Pottery from the Rif, Al Hoceima

Alfarería femenina rifeña de Alhucemas

The Rif pottery, elaborated by women from the Aït Ouiriaghel tribe, is a sign of identity from the region of Al Hoceima, and a treasure which belongs to Moroccan Cultural Heritage. This pottery preservation has been possible thanks to a global project which spreads from traditional stock rescue to the improvement of production techniques, as well as design of new collections and support on commercialization.
