The Spanish Foundation Cideal carried out an extensive programme, financed by the AECID, aimed to achieve socio economic development for women from Northern Morocco. In order to do so, seven centers were created, where women coming  from the least favoured urban suburbs and rural areas could get professional training and be helped in an efficient way. The centers are located in Al Hoceima, Tanger, Larache and Asilah. Apart from training in high demanding sectors, these centers have constituted their own productive units as a self-employing way making easier the beneficiaries’s work insertion. INNOVARTE colaborated with different activities aimed at improving these centers products and services competitiveness, as well as their commercial development.
