Jewelry Tanger

Joyería de Tánger

Past and present in Tanger, this fascinating international city placed between 2 seas, was our inspiration to design 3 new collections. The institutional partners for the Plan of Development for the Craft Sector, commissioned us this project in 2008/9, being their beneficiaries the local jewelers community.
The results were the stylized shapes of the “Arabesques” collection, with strong oriental flavour; the unprecedented combinations of material, motives and colours in the “Couleurs de Tanger” collection, inspired in the distinguished palette of the painters who discovered a paradise of colour and light in this city; and finally, the “Rif”collection, in which, for the first time, the emblematic decorative motives of Rif pottery and textiles, in their varied versions: silver, gold and pottery with leather, are used in a different context.
